ensure that you have special contents insurance cover for items defined as
being “high value antiques”.
Specifically, it would be essential to make sure that your policy covers
such items when they are in transit, such as when you are moving home.
The second point that we would like to draw to your
attention is that any items that are of high value, including antiques, should
be brought to our attention. That is
both from a practical viewpoint in terms of us making sure they are packed and
protected appropriately but also since there may be insurance issues such as
